Lee Thistlethwaite has over 20 years’ experience working with families of wealth, family offices and family business owners. His business focus is on governance, risk, strategy and succession.
Since 2004 Lee has been working as an independent advisor, initially in Geneva and since 2012, based in London. He currently works with several families in governance roles and provides regular advice where there is a need and recognition for an unbiased, independent and global viewpoint.
Prior to working with Global Partnership, Lee worked in international banking primarily with JP Morgan. From 1978-2003 he fulfilled a number of roles in both investment banking and private wealth management, retiring from JP Morgan at the level of Managing Director. During his banking career Lee has lived and worked in Hong Kong, London, New York, Melbourne and Geneva.
