Andy Meikle is Recast’s Founder and CEO.
In 2011 Andy founded Sportlobster, a social media platform that provided millions of fans with personalised access to stats, news, scores and content through hundreds of partners, including Cristiano Ronaldo and the NBA.
Andy exited Sportlobster in 2018 and, recognising the shift in fans’ consumption and payment patterns, founded Recast to revolutionise the media model through micro-transactions.
Andy has been recognised by entrepreneur.com in the US, naming him as “one of Britain’s brightest entrepreneurs changing the start-up landscape” and in 2021 was recognised in the Leaders Sports Awards, Leaders Under 40.

Recast is headquartered in Edinburgh with a staff of over 50 and has raised £15m investment to date, in preparation for exponential growth.
