Alex is a Managing Director at Javelin Venture Partners looking for disruptive opportunities across a variety of sectors, including online marketplaces, e-commerce, AI, fintech, and SaaS. He sits on the boards of Charma, MasterClass, Mythical Games, Pair Eyewear, Rinse, Sequel.io, Stensul, and Wethos. Alex sourced and is a board observer at Thumbtack, and led Javelin’s investments in Clutter, OctaneAI, and Viable. Alex holds an MBA from the Stanford GSB, and a B.S/B.A./M.S. from Stanford University, where he was also a Mayfield Fellow. After undergrad, Alex was the first employee at ooma (NYSE: OOMA), a venture-backed company in the Voice-over-IP space.

Fund V is over 70% closed with anchors the Simons family of Renaissance Technologies as well as Blackstone (new in this fund) and other prominent family offices and entrepreneurs. Javelin is seeking a select number of additional limited partners to participate in the Fund V final close in Q2 of 2023.
