Dean McPherson is Head of Global Mining for the TMX Group Ltd. (Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange). He is responsible for the development and execution of the global strategy for attracting new listings in the mining sector to the Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange. Prior to the Toronto Stock Exchange, Mr. McPherson worked as an investment banker, assisting mining companies to meet corporate finance and growth objectives. Before joining the capital markets, Mr. McPherson worked for 10 years as a civil engineer, managing capital projects for Alcoa Inc. (an international diversified mining company) and FLUOR (a major international engineering services company). In addition to an undergraduate honors degree in Civil Engineering; Mr. McPherson earned an MBA from Schulich School of Business at York University and is a CFA Charterholder.

Ron Thiessen holds a BComm degree from the University of Saskatchewan and a Chartered Professional Accountant designation. As President and CEO of Northern Dynasty since 2000, he had led corporate development and financing activities for the company, enabling the company to advance the project to one of the world’s most important mineral resources. He is a director of Northern Dynasty and the Pebble Limited Partnership, as well as serving on the board of several other publicly-listed companies. His work on behalf of Northern Dynasty and other companies has been recognized by several different awards. Mr. Thiessen and the Northern Dynasty team received the Thayer Lindsey International Discovery Award for the Pebble East deposit in 2007. He was awarded the E.A. Scholz Award for excellence in mine development in 2008 and was named the Business Person of the Year by the Canada-Southern Africa Chamber of Business in 2011. In 2013, he was presented with the William Lawrence Saunders Gold Medal from the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration and a fellowship (FCPA, FCA) from the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia.

Generation Mining is developing the 100%-owned Marathon Palladium-Copper project in Northwestern Ontario. A 2021 Feasibility Study shows a 30% Internal Rate of Return, a $1.07 billion NPV (6%) and a 2.3-year payback at a US$1725 palladium and US$3.20 copper price. Marathon is the largest undeveloped palladium project in North America. Most palladium demand is for autocatalysts in cars, which scrub toxic emissions from exhaust and therefore make our air much cleaner, while copper is a key component in electric cars.

In 2021 Amerigo had a robust operational and financial performance, with record revenue of $199.6 million, EBITDA1 of $90.1 million and net income of $39.8 million, the highest net income ever recorded by the company.
